✨ Be Our Mortal Guest on Rock the Attic! ✨
Ghosty is waiting in the Nevermore… and he may just summon YOU to his attic for a night of music, mischief, and magic.
🎭 The Concept
As the show begins, Ghosty snaps his fingers and *poof!* — you (and your bandmates) appear in his attic, looking bewildered and wondering how you got there. Ever the gentleman, Ghosty offers you a tasty beverage with a snap of his fingers making it appear out of nowhere (using editing tricks provided on set — no alcohol allowed).
From there, the night unfolds:
- The artist performs 3–4 original songs.
- Between numbers, Ghosty asks fun, bizarre, or thoughtful questions (from a pool of 20 questions the artist may pre-select). Ghosty may also go off-script entirely, keeping the attic lively and unpredictable.
- To close, Ghosty and his wraith band join the guest for two live cover songs, with lyrics displayed on the screen prompt so everyone stays in sync.
And remember: Ghosty himself records his parts in post-edit, so his spectral illusion remains intact while still performing right alongside you.
🎶 Performance Guidelines
- Bands: 3–5 members max.
- Solo artists: must bring a rhythm playback so the wraith band can jam along.
- Artists must submit their song list, lyrics, and music in advance for approval and so Ghosty can tailor his questions directly to their work.
📺 The Experience
- A screen prompt guides the flow of the show — songs, questions, and cues. Artists are advised to glance at it occasionally.
- Ghosty may drift off-script, but the prompt ensures everyone knows where they are.
- Artists will receive a copy of the footage for their own use, while commercial rights remain with Philip Seibel to sell, use, and distribute for sponsorship, promotion, and fundraising.
- If sufficient sponsoring is secured, artists may receive a one-time payment to cover costs and travel. No further financial obligation applies after this.
⚠️ Conditions & Rules
- By participating, artists agree that Philip Seibel reserves the right to edit or not air the footage if necessary (e.g. copyright, plagiarism, PR risk).
- The host Philip Seibel denies any responsibility towards the guests/artists/participants for injury, sickness, or death for the entire duration and travel to and from location of film shoot
- As the show is filmed in private living quarters, artists must respect house rules:
• No entering private rooms.
• Do not cross the control area (beyond lighting & prompt screen) without permission.
• Damage due to negligence will be handled via the guest’s Haftpflicht insurance.
- No discussion of extremist views, conspiracies, immigration, or derogatory topics. The attic is a space for fun, creativity, and intellectually stimulating conversation. Topics like 'war is horrible' are fine — but political debates or divisive takes are not permitted.
